Hi Everyone We are really looking forward to welcoming you all back and telling you about all the fun things we will be doing this term. There is a picture of the classroom for you to see. We understand that you may be feeling a little bit anxious about the return. Please be assured that we are here for you to chat about what you are worried about. Please don't worry about remembering all the new rules as the adults in class will help you. The most important thing is to come back and say hello to everyone! Important reminders first: 1. We are going to be having some special PE coaching on a Friday that I will talk about more tomorrow. Every Friday, please come dressed in PE kit and make sure you have warm tracksuit bottoms on or leggings. 2. We will be ensuring that we keep the class well-ventilated so please make sure that you have lots of layers. Please bring your coat and jumper each day. Please also bring water bottles. 3. Please arrive at 8:55am at the gate and be ready to pick up at 3:30pm. Siblings may arrive at the earlier time of arrival but not the later time. 4. Please remember your pencil case. We are going to be sending out reading books as normal but we will quarantine them for 72 hours afterwards. Tomorrow will be a settling in day. We are going to be writing about our holidays, look at numbers from 0 to 1000 and doing lots of PSHE to get to know each other again. Our history this term is going to be Local History. We are going to study some sites in the town that are of historical interest. Can you guess what they might be? Mrs Jelley and Mrs Squires will be working with us in the mornings. From next week, you will have Ms Chauhan for Art and DT and Mrs Matthews for Music on a Tuesday morning. Mrs Day will be with us on Tuesday afternoons. There will be lots of time tomorrow for us to catch up and find out what you have been up to and how you are feeling about coming back to school. If you have any exciting photos of your holiday and you would like to share them, please post them to the Dojo. Really looking forward to your return! Miss Keen Comments are closed.
