Hi Willow Class

You have had an outstanding half term and put a huge amount of effort into your learning. You should be very proud of yourselves and must be ready for a good break. 

It was really great to hear from so many children today in our Zoom meeting and to share some of your learning. It was lovely to hear so many children reading their own stories. Thank you so much for sharing these with me. I have loved seeing your finished stories with their illustrations and looking at your roundhouses. I have seen lots of improvement in your times tables and Maths abilities this half term as well.  I'm going to put some of the pictures of roundhouses on this blog. I hope you manage to see the pdf with some of the learning on it from the last couple of weeks on Class Dojo. 

After half term, we are starting some learning on rain forests. I'm really excited about this and think you will enjoy it too. 

I hope you have a really fantastic half term and manage to rest and relax with your family. I'm hoping that the sun shines and we can all get outside as well. 

Thank you for all your hard work this half term and thank you for keeping going even when it was tough.

 Hi Everyone
Today was Dress to Express yourself day. It was really great to see how many children have taken part and it has been lovely to share what you like doing to express yourself. 

I'm so impressed at your perseverance with your home learning. This week I have absolutely loved reading your stories and working on them with you on Zoom. We are going to work a little bit further with them next week in the hope that we can make a class book. I've seen some great learning with money and you have made a really great start to statistics week. 

A few things coming up next week.
Wednesday - You're going to make your roundhouse that you drew this week. You will need whatever building supplies you decided on. If you are coming into school. please bring them with you (cardboard etc). 

Friday - One of the options for Maths is cooking. If you would like to do some cooking - any cooking - for your Maths on Friday, please do. I don't mind what it is as long as it involves a bit of weighing!
