SPRING TERM - Week Five

Welcome to another glimpse into the hustle and bustle of our week in Year 3. It's been a roller coaster of creativity, numbers, and a touch of dance fever.

This week, our pens were our wands as we conjured up our own magical prequels to 'How to Live Forever.' Handwriting, grammar, and the sheer brilliance of our storytelling took centre stage. We delved into the world of words, exploring how each sentence could be a brushstroke on the canvas of our imagination.

Numbers, numbers everywhere! In our maths escapades, we unravelled the mystical relationships between multiplication and division. Armed with our mathematical wits, we tackled 2-digit x 1-digit sums, feeling like mini-mathematical wizards.

Beyond the books and numbers, our curiosity led us on a journey through the Shang Dynasty gods. We explored their stories and the mysteries of ancient times. And then, we kicked off our shoes and danced our hearts out to the beats of 'Footloose.' Line dancing fever took over, and we twirled and spun to the rhythm, letting loose after a week of intense brainpower.

In the linguistic department, we brushed up on our French, counting from 1 to 25 with gusto. "Un, deux, trois!" echoed through the classroom, adding a touch of international flair to our week. Meanwhile, in science, amplitude became our buzzword. We explored the highs and lows, literally, as we dived into the world of waves and vibrations.

As we wrap up this week's shenanigans, we can't help but marvel at the kaleidoscope of learning and laughter that fills our classroom. From the magic of storytelling to the precision of numbers and the joy of dance, Year 3 is an adventure waiting to be explored.
