Hi Everyone

The children have been working really hard on being ready to learn this week and using every minute of their learning time effectively. We are feeling very proud. 

We are continuing our learning of place value in Maths. We are now beginning to work with three-digit numbers and using equipment like Base 10 to make them. We have started writing our own poems about a painting that we have chosen. In science, we completed a materials hunt and started to think about variables in experiments. In PE, we have been learning all about side-stepping and pivoting. 

​We have been discussing the Christian creation story this week in RE. We discussed the order and importance of each step. There were some excellent ideas. I especially liked a question from Ross, who wondered what came before God.
In Art we have been creating Christmas card designs ready for printing. In Music we have been learning about rhythm and pulse, forte and piano. We have been singing and playing the glockenspiels.
