We have had many highlights this week but the children have particularly loved making artefacts from clay.
In maths, we are almost at the end of our learning on multiplication and division. We have learnt how times and divide with two-digit numbers using equipment. We have started to have a push on ensuring all the times tables are being learnt and we will find some extra time to practise in school. Our next unit is all about measuring length and perimeter. The children have written amazing quest stories in English. They have been really concentrating on writing in proper sentences and thinking carefully about how to join clauses when they are writing. We will be editing and publishing our stories next week. We have learnt about amplitude in science. We investigated what happens as you get further away from a sound. In history, we have completed making our artefacts for our museum. In French this week we have been learning some more numbers and also started talking about meals. This afternoon the children have been experimenting with charcoal creating some beautiful pieces in Art.
We hope you will come and visit us next Wednesday after school! Have a great weekend, Year 3 Team :)
