We are definitely in December now! The decorations are starting to go up ready for the fair on Friday.
The children have blown us away with their explanation texts this week. They have included complex sentences and lots of amazing technical words. We have been extremely proud. In maths, we have started a new unit looking at multiplication and division which the children have enjoyed. We have been doing lots of singing practice ready for the Castle Drogo concert and the children sound great. In science, we have been looking at why we should recycle to save raw materials. We looked at some items from the recycling pile and discussed them. We practised a range of sports in PE so the children could apply their jumping and side stepping.
A big thank you to the children for all their hard work this week. Year 3 Team
Castle Drogo Trip The children had such an incredible day performing their Christmas songs at Castle Drogo today. They were all so well behaved and had an amazing time exploring the castle and grounds, finding out all about the history of the castle too. Please find some pictures from the day on dojo.
