Hi Everyone
This week the children have been practising writing their own quest stories. We have been thinking about what magical items someone might need on a quest and talking about unlikely heroes. In maths this week, the children have been learning about money. We have been revising all the different coins and beginning to add up amounts in pence and pounds. It would be great if they could have a look at some coins and notes this weekend. We watched an assembly for our Dress to Express Day during Children's Mental Health Week. The children thought about who helps them grow and who can support you when you need it. We also thought about setting personal goals and made leaves celebrating positive things about ourselves. Yesterday in science, we had the last of our lessons on sound and explored uses for sound and how sound travels along string. Next week, we are writing our own stories based on a quest and we will be finishing our unit on money. We will also be finishing our unit on Ancient China. Hope you enjoy the rest of your week.
