Hi Everyone

Hope you are well. It has been another lovely week here. The children have really impressed us with their attitudes and hard work, as ever.

This week, we have read the Rainforest Rough Guide and started to think about all the features and conventions of writing in the book that we will need when we write our page of a guidebook.  We have finished our learning on time but will continue to practise telling the time to the nearest minute as many of the children still need some support with this. We will now start to look at angles in shapes. We have finished our coding lessons in computing. The children can now sequence code to make a musical instrument with the computer keyboard. In Life Skills, we have started our work on relationships by looking at friendships. We have also revised the correct names for all our body parts and looked at the Pants rule again.  In science, we have been learning about producers. 

Next week, we are continuing the Rainforest Rough Guide by starting to write a diary. We will continue our learning about angles in maths and ecosystems in science by learning about food chains.
