Hi Everyone
I hope you are all well. We are praying from some drier weather for Sports Day next week. We have had a busy week completing our assessments. We have read a poem, story and non-fiction text in the reading paper. In maths, we have answered an arithmetic and a reasoning paper. The children have worked incredibly hard and really shown off all they know. We have continued our learning about properties of shapes by looking at right, acute and obtuse angles with our angle gobblers. In English, we have watched part of a documentary on polar bears in preparation for writing and we have been reading some books some of the children chose for us from the library van. We have learnt about weather and climate in geography and food chains in science. Next week is Hope Week. We look forward to a French Theatre visit on Monday. Tuesday is our science day and we will be completing a special art project on Wednesday. Thursday is Sports Day in the morning and swimming in the afternoon. The music concert is on Friday afternoon. It is going to be a busy and fun week! Hope you have a good rest of the week and weekend. Below is a picture of our water cycle demonstration. Comments are closed.
