Hi Everyone The children have had a great week. We have been learning how to write letters and postcards. We are going to use our new geography knowledge about fold mountains in our writing. As well as this, we have been using bar charts and measuring lengths in maths. The children have enjoyed playing competitive games in the hall and we have finished our learning all about rules, laws, rights and responsibilities in our Life Skills lessons. In our Religious and World Views lessons we have been learning all about prayer and celebrations in Islam. We have learnt about the practise of fasting during Ramadan. Unfortunately Forest School was cancelled due to bad weather however we have added some photos from last week. Instead of Forest School, we learnt about pre-historic Art today. We learnt about the Lascaux Cave paintings - some of the most famous examples of detailed cave art, discovered by children in 1940. We also started a DT sewing unit - we will be making cushions!
Thanks so much for all your support, as ever. Miss Keen and Miss Boyce
