Hi Everyone 
I hope you are well. I can't believe it is nearly July.

We have had another busy week.

The children took part in a rocket making workshop on Monday. The tested their rockets in the hall and had great fun learning the science behind the rockets. 

The children have worked on an early draft of our Ancient Greek adventure stories. They have written some very exciting paragraphs on killing sea monsters! I have been very impressed. We are looking forward to writing the final stories next week when the children can choose their own Greek god or goddess and their own Greek monster. 

In Maths, we have started looking at shape including angles. We have also started to look at vertical, horizontal, perpendicular and parallel lines. We will continue this next week. We have started to research what life would be like in Greece and the UK. We will compare them next week.

We hope you have a fantastic weekend. Hope the children enjoy a well-earned rest.
