Hi Everyone I hope you are well. We are really looking forward to our Sports Day activities this afternoon. We have already completed some and are looking forward to completing the running races today. This week, the children have been working hard on writing their own versions of the Oliver and The Seawigs story. They have included a Greek God and Goddess of their own choice and a monster from a Greek myth. We have finished our unit on properties of shapes by looking at 2D and 3D shapes. We have listened to the NSPCC Speak Out, Stay Safe assembly in PSHE and learnt how important it can be to say if we think something is wrong. In Maths today, we are going to be looking at weighing and measuring to start our capacity unit. We have also started to look at what life was like in Ancient Greece. Next week, we are going to continue with Ancient Greece. We are going to start to read poetry and find out more about measuring and weighing. We are also going to have a special assembly on Monday with the results of Sports Day. On Wednesday, we have another special assembly from the RNLI about staying safe around water. We hope you have a great weekend. Miss Keen Comments are closed.
