I hope you have had a good week. The children have completed their fractions learning by learning how to add and subtract fractions. In art, they have been practising weaving with paper and will continue doing this next week. Our pea plants have been growing steadily and the children have been measuring them every week. We will plant them out before half term. In English, we started to learn all about The Paperbag Prince. It has a great message about nature not giving up which we have spent a bit of time thinking about. The children have also been continuing learning about being safe by starting to look at water safety today. Thank you for the amazing home safety posters. We discussed them today. Today, we have really enjoyed sharing our favourite books and reading in our pyjamas.
Next week, we are beginning to plan stories about abandoned places. We will be starting a maths unit on time. The children have to learn how to tell the time to the nearest minute in Year 3. We are also going to be looking at how water and nutrients move inside plants. Home learning will be in their reading folders and I will post it on Class Dojo as well. I hope you have a fantastic weekend. Well done, Willow Class! You have had another great week. MIss Keen and Ms Ruby Comments are closed.
