Hi Everyone I can't believe it is Friday already. It has been a great first week with amazing weather. We had fun this week investigating static electricity. We had a balloon and an aluminium can. The children had to make the aluminium can move without touching it. We have started a new book for English called Unit I Met Dudley which is all about how things work. In Maths, we started a new unit on Fractions and have been recognising tenths. Today, the children are dressing up for St George's Day. We have also been looking at taking different roles in small group discussions for our learning about oracy. Next week, the children are going to be using dyes in Art. We are starting our Science on plants by look at how a broad bean grows. They will also be writing an explanation text on static electricity. The children will also be taking part in the Captain Tom 100 Challenge. We have had a fantastic week and are very proud of the children's hard work. Hope you all have a great weekend and enjoy the lovely weather. Miss Keen and Ms Ruby Comments are closed.
