Hi everyone.
We hope you had a fantastic start to the new year! This week has been a whirlwind of learning and discovery, and we can't wait to share all the exciting things we've been up to in class. In English this week, we took journey through the world of sentences. We dove into the basics of simple sentences, added a dash of complexity with compound sentences, and even ventured into the intricacies of complex sentences. It's like building with Lego blocks – each type of sentence is a unique piece that fits together to create amazing stories. In Maths we revisited some key skills around number bonds. We also explored the concepts of sharing and grouping – important skills that lay the foundation for more complex mathematical adventures ahead. In RE, our journey into the fascinating world of religions led us to Islam. We learned a little bit about the rich traditions, beliefs, and practices of Islam, gaining a deeper understanding of the diverse tapestry of cultures that make up our world. We compared a mosque to our local church. Respect and understanding are the cornerstones of our exploration into different faiths. In the world of music, we are continuing to master the glockenspiels, focusing on complex rhythms and melodies. Stay tuned for more tales from our Year 3 classroom – where every day is a new opportunity to learn, grow, and have fun together! Comments are closed.
