Dear Parents,
Another exciting week has unfolded in our Year 3 classroom, filled with exploration, discovery, and active engagement. Here's a glimpse into the our week! In gymnastics. Students honed their skills in rolls, balances, and maintaining straight legs, fostering coordination and body control. In Geography, we explored the question of "What's Inside the Earth?" We made lift the flap posters to show the layers of the Earth. In DT, students learned about which months belong to each season and which fruits thrive in the UK during specific seasons. It was an interesting journey through the cyclical patterns of nature. In outdoor PE, students practiced moving and positioning on the court. It was a dynamic session that encouraged teamwork and strategic thinking. In English, our imaginations were ignited as we embarked on an adventure through the pages of "Escape from Pompeii" book. Using sands trays, students unearthed small pieces of artefacts, immersing themselves in the world of ancient history. Then they shared their ideas, explaining themselves clearly. In Maths, our focus was on length measurement and consolidating missing number questions. Through practical exercises and problem-solving tasks, students sharpened their mathematical skills and analytical thinking. Have a lovely weekend! Warm regards, Year 3 team Comments are closed.
