Happy Easter!
I hope you had fun in the snow this morning and haven't got to wet in the rain this afternoon! We have had a lovely end of term busy getting up to lots of activities. On Monday we joined with year six to create Easter wreaths. The children worked really hard on these and by the end of the session they looked amazing! In the afternoon we finished our geography unit on biomes by looking at the savanna and how humans are negatively impacting biomes. We watched an incredibly powerful and moving video explaining the effects climate change is having our on planet. On Tuesday we finished publishing our newspaper articles about Anne Frank. The children were really engaged with this unit which was great to see! In the afternoon we finished our gymnastics unit too. We also had a go at re creating the move from one of our favourite just dance brain breaks 'waka waka'. See some pictures below! We had a great final day of term by writing and publishing Easter poems. We also had some free time choosing different Easter themed puzzles and maths games to have a go at. In the afternoon children made beautiful pop up Easter egg cards which looked great. See more pictures below! Lots of exciting things to look forward to in the summer term and fingers crossed the weather starts to improve. I hope you have a lovely Easter break! Happy Easter Miss Collins :) Comments are closed.
