Happy Friday everyone. It is hard to believe where the last seven weeks have gone!
This week in English we have began to research all about the Benin Kingdom ready for our end of unit final writing piece which we will complete after half term. The children will be writing non - chronological reports all about the Kingdom of Benin. In maths this week we have continued to focus on looking at addition and subtraction and applying our methods to solve multi step word problems. We have also been very busy with our French speaking assessments. The children did so well with these and were able to have a conversation with their partner about themselves and where they live. I'm so impressed with everyone for trying their best with these! We have also finished our art unit on futuristic images this week and the children have produced some lovely final pieces using oil pastels to show a glimpse into what the future could be like. Once again the children had an excellent swimming session again this week with everyone trying their very best. After half term we will be starting new units across the curriculum and we have lots of exciting events to look forward to! We will be busy in DT starting a project ready for the Christmas fair (I know it is early to mention Christmas!) I hope you all have a lovely half term break and look forward to seeing everyone back in school after the break. Comments are closed.
