Happy Friday! This term seems to be flying by!
We started the week by having a joint assembly with year 6 with the book trust. It was all about authors and their experiences becoming authors. They also gave lots of top tips to children who would one day love to become an author. We were even lucky enough to receive a book for each child from one of the authors from the virtual assembly. Today we our celebrating and fundraising for Red Nose Day by wearing something red for a donation and after school we are having a bake sale in the hall. Please come along for some delicious sweet treats! In English, we have started our new unit on Anne Frank. Children have been very engaged by this book and the topic. We have discovered this amazing online resource the secret annex and it provides you with a virtual tour of where Anne Frank lived and hid. Next week we will be having our bike ability sessions! It is going to be a very exciting opportunity for the children to learn how to ride a bike safely out on the roads. Look out on dojo for messages and updates . Have a lovely weekend!
