Welcome to our weekly blog!
We have had a lovely week enjoying the sun! In English, we have been publishing our information texts on different endangered animals. The children have produced some excellent reports on these animals with lovely writing and drawings! Look out for these display around the school soon. In maths, we have finished our unit on coordinates and have started our new unit on converting units of measure. Today we focused on kilometres into metres and kilograms into grams. On Monday we will be focusing millilitres and millimetres. In computing the children designed their own quiz on any topic of their choice. Next week we will be creating the quiz on scratch using our programming skills we have learnt over the unit. Today we had an excellent PE session where we played a big game of rounders with year 6. The children were fab, they all participated and were supportive to one another! This afternoon we have continued with our bridges unit in DT. We have been making truss bridges out of spaghetti and masking tape. This has proven to be quite difficult. See below for some pictures of our wokr in progress. I hope you enjoy your weekend and hopefully in the sun too! Comments are closed.
