Well what a strange introduction to 2021!
Another Lockdown situation and a move back to remote learning. I will start by saying, well done everybody you have coped really well with a quick turnaround to learning and submitting work online. I know there has been some teething troubles, as there always is when working in a new way but everyone has managed to access the work on Google Classroom and submit theirs, be it through photographs, Google Docs, or by sharing it with me. It was lovely to see some of you on Google Mett earlier this afternoon, you all sound upbeat and I'm pleased to see that you are all still smiling! This week, those of you that have attended school, have been undertaking a running challenge in the orchard to try to run a mile or more in 15 minutes. The weather has meant some very rosy cheeks afterwards! It has been nice to see some of you out and about at home, we have a chin-ups specialist and our very own human sheepdog! It would be great to see more pictures of the things that you are doing at home, so please Dojo them and I will try to share them on a Friday as part of our weekly blog. Next week, we will be able to take part in a live Zoom PE lesson with our Saints Southwest coach - look out for the link on Dojo. This will be available at the same time as we would have PE normally on Friday, so have your kit on ready! I will also be setting more assignments for you to turn in, now that I've remembered which buttons to press on Google Classroom! Using the assignment, you will not have to share your work, you just turn it in (button next to the share button) when you finish it and it goes straight to a folder in Google Classroom, ready for marking. I will also put a Maths Doc out as an assignment for you to turn in and this will work in the same way. Well done everybody, you are all coping extremely well and I am very proud of you all (yes parents you too!) let's keep it going. Have a great weekend, stay safe and well Mr F Comments are closed.
