Good afternoon everybody - happy Friday!
It has been a great week, with various things happening in Hazel Class. On Monday, we cooked our pasta sauces and designed advertising posters for our sauce brands. On Tuesday, we had our RSE session, focusing on puberty and the changes that we go through when turning from child to adult. The children asked some really sensible questions and are now far more knowledgeable about the changes that they will have ahead. On Wednesday, we had an art day. We worked on pieces by two artists that we have studied this year, Van Gogh and Picasso. The children produced some nice pieces and have worked on some larger scale artwork, which will grace the walls of the school next term. (See photos) On Thursday, we challenged Ash class to a rounders match - what a performance Hazel Class! Following this, we then had Forest School for the rest of the day, including a rope course and zip line, shelter building, a slip and slide, whittling and marshmallows on the campfire. Thank you Miss Prince! Today, we have finished the year with games, a Leavers Assembly - which was awesome well done Year 6 and Mrs Ware and Miss Ruby, a water fight and finally a last P.E. session with Mrs Edwards. I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching Hazel Class this year and know that Mrs Ware and Miss Ruby are looking forward to teaching them in September. They will be a great Year 6. Have a great Summer everyone. Mr F Comments are closed.
