Good evening everyone, and Merry Christmas
This week in Hazel Class, we have been working hard on writing different styles of poetry. The results have been very impressive, poignant and thought-provoking (I will put some on this post) In Maths we have been working on Multiplication and Division, concentrating this week on factors and multiples. We have also used our wider curriculum time to continue our Geography work on Mountains. This week, we thought about the climate on a mountain. For PE this week we have continued to run at least a mile a day, with some children completing 2 miles a day in the time limit. Today we enjoyed festive fun, with Home Alone, Secret Santa and a games session in the classroom (see photos) Well done to all of you who are reading regularly, lots of you are close to circumnavigating the globe in our Round the World Reading Challenge and are beyond Kenya already. Some people have completed the challenge, or are close to doing so. For those of you that have, I have created the Genre Genie Reading Challenge and have attached a copy and some reading lists to go with this (they are on the post dated 13.11.20) Instead of home learning over the holidays, I have set Christmas Challenges, these are 12 Christmassy Challenges that are really good for spending time doing things together - how many can you complete? Have a great holiday everyone- I hope Santa brings you everything that you wanted! Mr F Comments are closed.
