Good afternoon all - Happy Friday.
It's been a really busy week, full of creativity, design and forestry. This week, we have worked hard on different areas of the curriculum, as we have been finishing off various topics. We have worked on writing a pupil's view of the school, finishing our Maths assessments and work on decimal numbers. On Wednesday, we started work on creating a healthy pasta sauce. We will be cooking this next week, I will be buying the ingredients over the weekend and have had a few contributions for this so far. On Thursday we experienced life with our new teacher in the morning and had another Forest School session, this time with Miss Prince. (See photos) Finally today, we have worked on some Maths, Computing and have started our RSE, which we will complete next week. We are covering puberty, should you wish to see the content, I will post the Power point that I am using next week on Dojo. We finished the week with our Saints P.E. session, working on our tennis skills (see photos). Please look out for this half term's home learning on Class Dojo, as well as this half term's spellings. The Home Learning Diary that was sent home, has been used by many of you already, with some really good pieces of work evident. These are due in by next Thursday at the latest - I look forward to seeing them. Next week, we will be having class photos on Monday, so can children come in full uniform for their photograph and bring their P.E. kit to change into, so that they will be cooler. We will be cooking our pasta sauce in the early part of the week, so please can I ask for plastic tubs and the pound contribution for ingredients. They will also have another Forest School Day on Thursday - more details to follow from Miss Prince. On Friday, we will have a water fight, so please bring an extra set of clothes and a water pistol. Have a great weekend, enjoying family time. See you on Monday. Mr F Comments are closed.
