​Chestnut Class
Our busy week has ended on a high with our 'Sports Day'. The children were very excited to take part and winners will be revealed on Monday. Photos to follow!
Can I remind you that children need PE kits on Monday for some OCRA activities on site.

Literacy
In Literacy we have been looking at the book 'Jellybean' culminating in the children writing a poem. The children were practising using noun phrases and in some cases expanded noun phrases.

Maths
The children have been working on 'Money' this week and we will continue this next week. Why not have a game of Monopoly over the weekend so the children can experience money in context. Follow this link to consolidate learning:

Science
In Science the children have done some great plant identification and made close observational drawings in order that they understand the differences between different species of plants and trees.
