Chestnut Class
Our Star Learner this week was Tabitha who has shown great tenacity in her assessments and is always so kind to those around her. Well done Tabitha! Assessments The children have had almost a full week of assessments and I am sure they are all very tired. They did incredibly well persevering through the assessments and showed great patience. I'm very proud of them all. Reading Books You may have noticed one of the reading books has not changed. This is on purpose as we will start the unit of work for these books this week. Can I ask that any school books you may still have at home are returned before the end of term. I am missing several RWI books which are vital to our program and in limited supply. Science The children had fun looking at the different leaves of the trees in the school grounds and making observational drawings of the structure of a tree and its leaves. This work will continue next week. Meals Thank you to those parents who are booking meals, it has made a real difference meaning we can start the day more quickly.
