Dear Chestnut Class,
Welcome back to school! Chestnut Class will be returning to normal as soon as possible. Myself and Miss Heffer are looking forward to having you back in the classroom. 
Our topic this term will be Local History. Our typical day will start with Phonics followed by Maths and Literacy with wider curriculum subjects covered in the afternoon.  This week we will be focussing on PSHE topics that will help children to settle into school, establish class rules and good hygiene levels during this difficult time. 
Please ensure your child brings a pencil case with relevant equipment, a water bottle, warm clothing and spare clothes. Children can wear their PE kit (wear jogging pants) to school on PE days (Thursday). Lunches can be booked via the Gateway App. I look forward to seeing you all!
