Chestnut Class Friday News

We have had a busy time in our first week back at school. We have felt very welcomed by Chestnut Class who have helped us the daily routines, shown us what they can do and have generally been brilliant! This week in Maths we have been looking at weight and mass. Children have been using balance scales to say what object is heavier/lighter and weigh objects using cubes.

In English we have been looking at poetry. We have learned ‘The Ning Nang Nong’ by Spike Milligan; changing some of the nonsense words to make it our own. I have been so impressed with the children when they have stood up in front of the class to recite their poems.
