Dear Parents and Carers,
This week has been super busy!! We are rehearsing for the Nativity most days and the children have really got into the spirit, singing their hearts out and employing their best acting skills. Father Christmas visited with his elf this week and left the children a lovely gift. We are looking forward to opening these at our Christmas Party on Friday. The children can bring a party outfit to change into and I would be grateful for any contributions of snacks, although I will provide some myself. This afternoon we will be watching the KS2 Christmas Carol Service; a time to relax and enjoy the spirit of the Christmas for us all. The Nativity Please do remember to send in your child's costume on Monday so we can make our own final adjustment to costumes where needs be. Illness There has been a lot of illness throughout the school with many children and classes affected. We are trying to be particularly vigilant regarding hygiene in class. Please do keep your child home if they are too unwell to attend school. In particular please keep an eye out for symptoms of 'Hand, Foot and Mouth' disease and Scarlet Fever, as well as sickness bugs. Here are some useful links: Hand, foot and mouth disease. https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/hand-foot-mouth-disease/ Scarlet Fever https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/scarlet-fever/ ...and of course COVID! Thank you for your vigilance. Kind Regards, Rebecca Budiman Comments are closed.
