The children have had a fantastic week continuing to explore our Safari theme, by focussing on the story 'Rumble in the Jungle'. We have enjoyed getting creative and messy in our expressive arts area and enjoying the patches of sunny weather throughout the week. 

The children have loved painting outside, creating shape elephants, building with the construction blocks and matching numbered bananas. This week has been the first week back for some of the children and they have all settled in to the daily routine well.

This week we have focussed on the children's communication and language skills, in particular, listening and attention. The children have sat beautifully for story time and carpet time, and followed Jump Start Johnny for some physical development before snack time.
