Wishing all our families a nice warm cosy Christmas and a Merry New Year!
Looking forward to welcoming you all back on Wednesday 5th January 2022! Lots of love, Early Years Team :) This week in Nursery we’ve had three elves come to visit. They have been rather cheeky as they appeared through a magical green door and made their way to our Christmas tree we decorated last week.
‘Sparkle’ and ‘‘Tinsel’ trapped ‘Snowflake’ in the paper towel dispenser! Oh no… All three elves also wrapped toilet roll around the Christmas tree. Unfortunately, they had to disappear on Wednesday as the children weren’t using their listening elf ears, walking feet, or kind elf like hands so they returned to ‘The North Pole’ reporting back to “Santa Christmas” “Father Christmas”. The elves left a magical letter on Lucy’s iPad to tell the children that they’ll return if they use their, ears, hands, and feet properly. “You need to use your listening elf ears.” “That’s what Santa tells me.” - Sparkle Another festive week of dancing, singing, playing, and exploring. Christmas Joke of the week - What is a Christmas Tree’s favourite candy? …. Orna-Mints! Ha haha Many thanks, EY Team :) What a festive week it has been - opening our fantastic toy advent calendar each day, decorating our tree, cutting and decorating glitter stars, and dancing along to Christmas music.
This week we have watched 'The snowman' and 'The Snowdog' and the children have been working very hard to make some Christmas surprises for you all... shhhh! Thought of the week - It's not what's under the Christmas tree that matters it's who around it.. Have a lovely weekend. Early years team :) |
