I really don't know where the time has gone, the week has flown by.
The children have been creative decorating Easter eggs with paint and cotton buds, making play dough eggs and decorating them with gems and cutting and sticking bunnies and chicks. We have also been spending time together playing table top games based around supermarket shopping, healthy eating and picnic's, this inspired us to write shopping lists and plan dinner, one child even offered to cook me a 'chicken dinner'! Thought for the week - What do you call the Easter Bunny the Monday after Easter? Egg - hausted! Have a lovely half term everyone, Karen and the team. Another busy week in nursery. We have been team building and working together with our construction toys, sorting by size and colour, going on a 2D shape hunt around school, finishing our circle art display and so much more!
Remember to hand in any Easter egg designs by Wednesday, they have been sent home in your child's bag over the last few days. Thought for the week - 'its fun to have fun but you have to know how' |
