We have been very creative in Nursery this week. The children have made hedgehog paintings using forks instead of brushes, we mixed Autumn colours for free choice painting and on Thursday we made binoculars to use on a colour hunt around the school grounds visiting the Trim Trail once again.
During carpet times we have shared our thoughts about Autumn and learnt some new things. What happens in Autumn...? "The leaves have changed colours, yellow and orange, and brown leaves." "It gets cold and the flowers don't come out. Some crunchy leaves." "The leaves fall off and when the leaves fall off in the road a car comes along and they dance around and go whoosh!" The end of the week has been fun filled with dressing up in aid of 'Children in Need' and lots of dancing! Thought of the week - Learning can happen anywhere not just in the classroom. Have a lovely weekend. See you next week, Early Years Team :) Comments are closed.
