Hello everyone,
We hope that you are all well and have had a good week.

The main highlight for Year 2 this week has been completing our English teaching sequence 'The Bear and the Piano'. 

The children have worked extremely hard over the past few weeks, gaining new learning and have thoroughly enjoyed the story.  To end the sequence, the children have drafted their own version of the story.  They have taken time to carefully edit and improve their work.  Finally, they have written up their version and published their writing carefully.  

The real highlight has been using their art and DT skills to turn their published story into a pop-up book page.  All these pages are now being complied into a whole class pop-up book entitled 'The Animal Orchestra' and this will be a super testament to all their hard work.

We hope the book will be  ready next week, so please do look out for the pictures of the finished article! It  will have pride of place on display in our classroom, so if you are in school next week, please feel free to have a read.
