Hi Everybody
This term seem to have flown by. The children are very enthusiastic learners and are a credit to the school. Thank you for everything you have done to support them this term. They have produced some excellent instructions on how to catch Santa and should be totally prepared for Christmas Eve. They have finished the unit on addition and subtraction and will learn about shape next term. We have finished our last outdoor science lesson by making a habitat and we have learnt all about space in our other science lessons. They have learnt about digital photos in computing. It has been a pleasure to teach them and get to know them this term. I will certainly miss them and all of you but hope to see you out and about. We hope you have a fantastic break and are well rested for the New Year. Thank you Miss Keen PS Hope that Father Christmas comes...

Hi Everybody
Thank you so much for all your hard work supporting the children with their play. The costumes looked great and they have done such a good job of learning their lines. We have really enjoyed their performances. We have also been adding and subtracting two-digit numbers using Base 10. We will finish this unit next week. They have been working on learning the Year 1 and 2 Common Exception words and we will continue testing them on these to see what more they need to learn. We have been reading How To Catch Santa and next week the children will be writing some instructions for catching Santa. Watch out for this! They finished their geography unit this week on the United Kingdom. We hope you have a relaxing weekend after all the excitement of the play. Thank you Year 2 Team |
