Lots more bee bots fun today. We have got very good at drawing detailed maps and programming the bots. We have learnt left and right, 1/4, 1/2 and 3/4 turns and clockwise and anti-clockwise. It was tricky to program the bee bot with a string of instructions. Earlier in the week we worked with year three on Scratch programming.
We had a lovely visit to the church today. Reverend Spence showed us around the inside and outside of the church and explained many of the objects and the activities that take place in the church. The children asked some excellent questions. In Maths we had a no pencils lesson. We worked in groups to create a map and to write a program for the bee bot to move around. We use the language of position and direction. We talked about what makes a good team leader. Well done! Have a lovely weekend.
