Hello everyone
What a very busy week! The children in year 2 have continued to work very hard and are all doing their best which is great to see. We have started our new English Sequence - Wolves. The children will be learning all about non fiction texts and how to write non chronological reports. In mathematics, everyone has been getting to grips with measure, focusing on units of length; comparing and problem solving. In art we have been exploring primary and secondary colour mixing and carefully looking at how to adjust these for variations of shade, in preparation for a range of painting tasks in the weeks ahead. Moreover, it was super to see so many of you attending the Parent Carer Meetings held this week. The meetings were extremely positive and reflected the children's hard work this term. It was lovely to meet so many of you and we are both very grateful for your support and appreciation. If there is anything further we can do to support your child and you at home with their learning, please do not hesitate to contact us in school. We will be happy to help in anyway we can. We hope you all have a very restful weekend, after such a full week for everyone. Best wishes The year 2 team.
