Welcome back to a new school year

Welcome back to the academic year of 2022 - 2023. The children have settled really well this week and have been a joy to teach. This week, we have spent time getting to know one another and getting used to our new routines. We have spent the afternoons creatively with some Art activities including creating self portraits and jigsaw pieces about ourselves.

With the sad news today, we have had a sombre end to the week as we felt this was appropriate. The children have taken part in a memorial assembly rather than a praise assembly. We will be observing the national mourning in line with our Trust schools and as age appropriate. Miss Penny will write more about this in her newsletter this week.
