Welcome back!

Hello and welcome to a brand new school year!

We are really looking forward to welcoming your children back to school tomorrow. I am the class teacher, Miss Radbourne, and we will be supported by Mrs Shaw every morning. On a Wednesday morning, the children will be taught by Miss Chauhan and Mrs Mathews. We will also have Mrs Day supporting us on a Wednesday afternoon.

Ash Class' daily arrival time is 9:00am. We ask that you please do not arrive early as we need to reduce congestion at the school gate, however siblings of other children may arrive at the earliest arrival time. Myself or Mrs Shaw will be there to collect the children and walk them to the classroom everyday. Our school day ends at 3:35pm and we will bring your children down to school gate ready to meet you.

Please remember that your child needs to come with a fully equipped pencil case, a water bottle, warm clothing (our classroom will be well-ventilated with doors and windows open) and a coat.

PE will take place on a Friday and we ask that your child comes dressed in their PE kit. We advise warm tracksuit bottoms and please remember a school jumper to keep warm during the day. Children will spend the day in their PE kit and wear it home again so that no PE kits are left in school. 

If your child requires a school packed lunch, please book this through the Gateway website.

I hope your child is looking forward to returning to school, but please reassure them that if they are worried about anything, we are ready to listen and support them. We have an exciting day planned tomorrow with lots of 'getting to know you' games, an art activity and some sharing of what we have done over the Summer. There will be plenty of time for all of the children to catch up with their friends too!
