Well here we are again at the end of another week in lockdown. This week, I'd like to say a big well done to everybody for embracing the challenges of remote learning but still working hard and embracing it all! I have really enjoyed reading the children's Inventor Portfolios this week. Not only did I see some fantastically interesting writing, there was also some super presentation on show. Have a look at the photos below to see some examples. Next week, we will be starting a new unit of work in English based on a story called 'The Impossibly Possible Bookshop' as well as a new unit of work in Maths on fractions. We've continued to enjoy our twice daily Google Meets and have settled into a good routine with these. We spend the morning meeting going over the work for the day and children can ask any initial questions they have. They then go away and have a go at the work. If they need support, they can drop me a message on Google Classroom and I can join them in a Google Meet to provide some help. Our afternoon meeting is for sharing our work from the day, playing a game and sharing a story together. It has been really lovely to see so many children joining these meetings and I hope it continues. Will you be doing the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch this weekend? See the PDF for information and please send me some photos if you do! ![]()
