Another week has flown by and we're now in the middle part of this term with lots of exciting things coming up. Next week is our assessment week so the children will be sitting a reading paper and two maths papers. Once these are done, we have move up morning on Thursday and sports day on Friday to look forward to.
This week, in English, the children researched their own famous places in Chile including Easter Island, the Marble Caves and the Atacama Desert. They found out facts about these places and turned them into short paragraphs ready to include in their final double page spread. In Maths, we started a unit of work on shape. We learnt about acute, right and obtuse angles, along with the different types of triangles and their properties. Play rehearsals are coming along well and we are seeing so much improvement now. It's going to be great! Please could costumes be sent into school in a named carrier bag next week. Yesterday, the children took part in 'Quad kids' run by OCRA. They loved this and it was a great way to spend a Thursday morning! Have a look at the photos below. Today was rainbow day and everyone looked so colourful demonstrating how great it is that we are all different. Comments are closed.
