What a great week of online learning we've had! In Maths, I've been really impressed with the perseverance and positive attitude from all of the children throughout our unit on Multiplication and Division. Even when they found it tricky, they kept going! Next week, we start a new unit of work on Area. In English, we have been looking at non-fiction texts from the book 'How to Invent' and next week children will be choosing an inventor to research and write about. We've had some great learning in Science this week all about electricity. This topic continues next week when the children will investigate conductors and insulators, plus consider how much we rely on electricity.
It's been really lovely to see so many of Ash Class at our daily meetings, I love seeing everyone's faces and saying hello! Do keep joining these, even if you can only make one a day. From next week, the whole school assembly is moving to a Wednesday morning at 11:00am so we won't have a Google Meet then, but we will have one Friday morning instead. Make sure you get outside this weekend - the weather forecast for tomorrow is looking beautiful! Take a break from those screens and go and enjoy yourselves. Happy weekend, Miss Radbourne Comments are closed.
