We've reached the end of our second week of home learning! Another massive well done to all of the children for their super engagement and effort with their learning. I've been so pleased with the work you've been submitting. In Maths, we've learnt how to do short multiplication, we're making strides with division and will continue this next week. In English, I've seen some fantastic writing based on the legend of Beowulf. Have a look at these great sentences!
He arrived at the building. It looked as if a bomb had exploded. Broken windows, the door was hanging by a tiny piece of wood and the roof had fallen off! As he entered, he saw the beast... It was awaking. - Lola Beowulf rose while the monster loped towards him like a cat, licking his lips and breathing fire out of his nose. - Jack Some heroic gentleman came down to the village and one by one they tried to defeat the monster. Although none of those people had succeeded, he knew there would be someone out there who could... - Charlie It's been great to see so many of you joining our twice daily Google Meets. We will continue with the same times next week. 9:15am for a morning meeting where I will go through the day's work and clear up any misconceptions from the day before. We will then meet at 2:30pm for sharing our learning and story time. This only changes on a Friday when we have out 10.30am school assembly and our 2.30pm Saints Southwest live PE session. It was super to see you all exercising and keeping fit today! Have a lovely weekend and I will see you all next week! Comments are closed.
