Friday update 11.6.21

​It's the end of the first week back! This week, we have learnt all about statistics in Maths and the children have been able to read and interpret data from a variety of different graphs. In English, we have read a book called 'A Walk in London' and will be writing our own version called 'A Walk in Rio de Janeiro' using some of our Geography learning.
In PE, we have started Athletics and today did some long distance running and had great fun using javelins. See some photos below.
Yesterday, we had our first RSE lesson and learnt the scientific names for all the body parts. We discussed the PANTS rule and listened to a song to help us remember how to keep safe. https://www.nspcc.org.uk/keeping-children-safe/support-for-parents/pants-underwear-rule/
