Friday 8th September - a new beginning.

Happy Friday everyone.
It seems strange to be writing about the first week back, when the children have only had three days back but they have been a superb three days. I have really enjoyed welcoming the children back and feeling their enthusiasm for learning new concepts and ideas, I have been really impressed with their attitude and the willingness that they have to develop new knowledge. 
This week, we have tackled, English, Maths, P.E., Art, Book Talk and Life Skills. I have included a few photos below so that you get a flavour for how hard they have been working. 
A new timetable be be posted on Monday but for reference, P.E days are Tuesday and Thursday, so have your kits ready! We will also introduce home learning next week, composed of reading every night for at least 10 minutes, times tables learning for Maths, Spelling and a Wider Curriculum home learning for the half term.
