We've had another good week in Ash Class this week. The children have continued learning about Place Value in Maths and learnt how to round numbers to the nearest 10 and 100. In English, they have written a story called 'Bob and the Brownies'. Ask them what it is about! In History, they designed posters as job adverts for a Roman Soldier. Have a look at the photo of some of the work on display. They also had great fun with Mrs Mathews in Music and are learning the song 'Mamma Mia' by Abba. The week has finished with an energetic P.E. lesson this afternoon, practising skills in throwing and catching. Finally, well done to all children who have been benchmarked and moved up a colour band or become a free reader! This week's spellings: once beautiful great though occasion strange disappear enough ordinary favourite Please keep reading daily and making a note in reading folders, and keep up the times table practise. We will be using Times Table Rockstars as often as possible at school. Comments are closed.
