OUR AIM

Welcome to North Tawton Primary School. We are situated in the heart of the North Tawton community, in beautiful mid Devon.
We are part of the Foundry Hub within the Dartmoor Multi Academy Trust.

We offer full and part time Nursery provision and single form entry classes for Reception to Year Six. We have beautiful grounds including extensive fields, playgrounds, a trim trail, tennis court and a forest area.

The children are at the very heart of our school and we hope that as you view our website you will see that all of our efforts are directed towards providing them with a safe, secure and happy learning environment where every individual can develop self confidence and acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to enable them to become caring, well-informed citizens.  It is important to us that each child has a fantastic start to their education, that they discover their talents and passions and become lifelong learners. 

With the Dartmoor Multi Academy Trust comprising 17 schools, both primary and secondary across this part of Devon, we have the benefit of being part of a wider local community. See here for more about our Dartmoor Trust Values.
