Fun was had, noses were painted, jokes were told and giggles were made.
Thank you to all who supported Red nose day. The week had been full of tales, adventures and building. Acorn children have been working together to build houses for the three little pigs, looking at building around the word and being creative with oil pastels; some children even had time for a Witch's picnic.
Reminders - Please label your child drink bottle and morning snack, pack extra clothing for mishaps and provide nappies and wipes if needed. Quote for the week - A child that builds with sticks and stones might one day be an Architect. Happy Friday all, see you next week. Karen and the team So much has been going on in Acorn class, where do we start.... Our adventures have taken us across the water to far off places, in China we discovered where Panda bears live, how new year is celebrated and what is use instead of cutlery to eat with. We have created some mood lighting with lanterns and tried our best to write Dragon in Chinese calligraphy. Our daydreams took us to Egypt where we discovered the mummies once lived. Our rockets took us to the moon and our imagination built stories together. We have even turned our hand to baking this week and Florence helped us to make shortbread. Quote for the week - Always say yes to an adventure! Our new term has started and our topic of 'Adventure and Time travel' have been taking us around the world and beyond.
