I hope you are well. It is a fantastically sunny Friday.
We have had another great week this week. The children are gaining lots of new skills in debating and becoming really confident at talking in front of the class. They have started their Computing Unit on Scratch and learning more about how to code. In English, we have written a class text explaining how static electricity works and, in Maths, the children have been looking at tenths as decimals and fractions. They have planted peas in jars to see how they grow and started to explore what plants needs to survive. In DT, they have designed a game or toy that uses static electricity.
Today, we are looking forward to completing our Captain Tom Challenge. Many thanks for your donations. Next week, we will continue to learn more about plants and see if the peas have started growing. We will also be writing an explanation text about an appliance or motor that we have researched ourselves.
Thank you, as ever, for your support. Have a great bank holiday!
