It has been a lovely week this week. The children's behaviour has been outstanding, as ever, and they have shown a fantastic work ethic. We have continued our learning on time and looked at the 24 hour clock as well as continuing to practise telling the time to the nearest minute. In English, we have started our new book, Oliver and The Seawigs. It is a much longer story than usual so we are doing a lot of reading this week. The children have read it beautifully to each other with very clear voices and using great expression. We have started exploring Greece (sadly, just online!) and beginning to think about what life might be like in Greece. We will be reading lots of Greek myths over the next few weeks.
Today, the children will be continuing their PE learning about team games. We will continue to learn to talk about methods of transport in French and how we travel to different places. In our PSHE, we have started our learning about the correct words for all body parts and we have looked at the Pants rule from the NSPCC so we know how to stay safe. You can find more information on the NSPCC website. https://www.nspcc.org.uk/keeping-children-safe/support-for-parents/pants-underwear-rule/
A big well done to the children and thank you for your for your support. Have a great weekend.
